Ready for an unforgettable Summer tournament with your team? The Summer Youth Cups are back from July 1 to 3 in Antwerp South (Hoboken). The Youth Cups are a initiative by GARRINCHA to support and bring together youth football. A tournament full of atmosphere, action, and fun, where youth teams from different regions compete against each other on our unique urban 5-a-side football pitches. ⚽

What are the Summer Youth Cups?

• Indoor tournament during the Summer holidays.

• Group stage matches with semi-finals and a final.

• Winners of each category win a GARRINCHA football party.

Who is it for?

• Categories: U8 up to and including U14.

• All levels: Elite - Interprovincial - Provincial - Regional

• Clubs can register multiple teams as long as capacity permits.

When and Where?

• Period: 1-3 July

• Location: GARRINCHA Antwerpen Zuid, Lageweg 356, 2660 Antwerp (Hoboken)

Registration

• Places are limited.

• Max. 16 teams per category.

• After registration, a confirmation email with practical information will follow first.

• Final confirmation with the match schedule will be sent 14 days before the start of the tournament.

Tournament Rules

• Team Size: max. 10 players / min. 5 players.

• Matches: 1 x 15 min.

• Time Between Matches: 10 min for warming up and preparation.

• Equipment: shinguards are not mandatory but are recommended, no metal studs.

• Fair Play: yellow card 2' time penalty / red card match exclusion.

• Substitutions: continuous, flying substitutions.

• Points: 1 point for a draw / 3 points for a win.

• In the event of a tie in the knockout stage, a best-of-5 penalty shootout will take place immediately.

General Terms and Conditions (Registration)

As team manager, I agree to the following conditions:

• Registration via this form is binding.

• Cancellation must be done at least 1 week before the start of the tournament, via email to hello@garrincha.be.

• We do not charge cancellation fees. However, we count on respect for the organisation and ask that registrations made are honoured or cancelled in time, so that released spots can be allocated to waiting teams.

• In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the organisation may limit the club's future participation to guarantee a fair flow.

• By registering, you give permission for photo and video content of teams and supporters to be created, and that these images may be used by GARRINCHA for communication purposes such as the website, social media, and other communication channels. If you do not wish this, please inform us via email at hello@garrincha.be before the match day.
